Solo VS the Premier
The Premier offers Five Different Sessions
As with any cleansing modality, versatility is extremely important. With the
IonCleanse® Vitality Enhancement System the
user is able to select from five
session programs allowing almost anyone to use the equipment. Most of the other
units on the
market offer only a single session program. Users of these
"mono-polar" units may eventually complain of dizziness, nausea and
light-headedness during the session. These effects are attributed to using the
wrong polarity. Users of the IonCleanse® will
almost never feel these
sensations.
The following describes
the five preset options and recommended use:
1. All Positive – Clinicians only. (which produces a predominance of negative ions in the water) Negative ions produce an increase in PH.
2. All
Negative – Clinicians only. (which produces a predominance of positive ions in
the water)
3. 70+ (positive) / 30– (negative).
This is the generic setting that should be used by non-clinicians and those
who do not muscle test for one polarity or another.
4. 15+ (positive) / 10– (negative) / 5+ (positive)
5. 10– (negative) / 15+
(positive) / 5– (negative)
Note:
Options 4 and 5
were developed over thousands of sessions. We have found that people who test
for positive polarity
first generally require option 4; those who test for
negative polarity first generally require option 5. Therefore, in most cases
where patients test for positive, use option 4; for those who test strong in
negative, use the option 5.
Dual Polarity
The IonCleanse® has the ability to switch from a positive polarity to a negative
polarity and visa versa.
Our patented array configuration is the only one of its kind to produce both
positive and negative ions in the water.

How the IonCleanse® Works
AC electricity is converted to low power DC electricity which
flows through a patented electrode system that sits in the
footbath. The
electricity and the metal combine to split the water molecule into H+ and OH-
ions. These ions travel through
the body, neutralize oppositely charged
particles and through powerful osmotic pressure pull those neutralized particles
out
of the body through whatever skin surface is in contact with the water.
An ion is a charged atom that has gained or lost an electron which creates a
magnetic field capable of attaching to and
neutralizing oppositely charged
particles. These neutralized particles are extracted from the body through the
process
called osmosis. Osmosis is a scientific term that is used to describe
the movement of particles through a membrane from
an area of lower concentration
to an area of higher concentration. In this case, the higher concentration
refers to the ion
field that is set up by placing the array into the water while
running the unit.
The array is placed into the water alongside the hands, feet, or body while the
power supply delivers a low level direct
current to the array. This causes the
metals within the array in combination with water and salt to generate
positively and
negatively charged ions by separating oxygen and hydrogen in the
water.
The practitioner determines the polarity setting through the use of litmus paper
(pH strips) or muscle testing. We speculate
that ions generated by the
IonCleanse® travel through the body attaching themselves to a multitude
of toxic substances,
thereby neutralizing their positive or negative charge. It
may be possible to reduce pain and other symptoms caused by a
lifetime of toxic
buildup in the body (assuming the symptoms are caused by toxic buildup). The

Regional Toxicity
Water, metal and salt will combine to produce a light water
color change, as well as objects in the water even
without feet being submerged.
The IonCleanse® neutralizes toxins in the water the same way it neutralizes
toxins
in the body. The predominant color of the de-ionized water is determined
by the chemicals used by local water
authorities in combination with the
pollutants common to that area. In Denver, Colorado, the predominant water
color is orange; in Phoenix, Arizona it is orange-brown; in parts of Texas it is
brown; yellow-green in Boise, Idaho.
Chinese acupuncturists understand the concept of regional
toxicity as it relates to the ailments that predominate in
a given area. Some
areas of the country have higher joint complaints, while others report a higher
frequency of
kidney-bladder problems. Could it be that the toxins peculiar to an
area gravitate toward a specific part of the
body causing it to break down?
As a general rule, regional toxins contribute 20-40% of the
residues found in the water after a foot bath. The black
flecks can be created
by heavy metals in the bath water as well as deterioration of the metal in the
array.

Beware of Knock-Offs !
Imitation
is the sincerest form of flattery, but in the case of our IonCleanse® product,
the imitations are mostly cheap junk
with little resemblance to the quality
parts, circuit design and safety features of the IonCleanse® product.
Furthermore,
most of the knock-offs and other competitive units have not passed
the mandatory FCC, electrical safety, and other mandatory
tests required to be
sold in the United States to households or to a commercial business.

Electric Shock Hazard
-
This can result if a poorly designed unit is repeatedly overloaded. A
thin piece of paper insulation
in the power transformer is all that separates
the array output from the 120 volt AC power line input. If the paper insulator
in
the transformer is overheated repeatedly because the array has been
overloaded, it may fail. The resulting failure could expose
your client to 120
volts AC with amperages that pose an extreme hazard. The IonCleanse® has passed
and is certified as specified
under Electrical Safety by Council Directive
73/23/EEC EN60335-1-2002. The power supply is protected from overload and has
been tested to comply with UL standards for leakage current and for electrical
shock hazard.

Premature System Failures
-
A poorly designed power supply connected to an array circuit without a
current limiter
will cause the circuit and array to fail prematurely. The
IonCleanse® unit was designed to prevent damage to the control unit
under normal
operation due to poor water conditions or operator error. We show the power
output readings to the array in volts
and amps. If a condition occurs that can
damage the unit, the computer program will warn the operator and shut off the
array.
As a result our failure rate is less than 1 unit in 1,000 sold. Some of
the other units on the market have failure rates as high as 80 to 100 percent.

Poor Power Supply Filtering
-
Unregulated and unfiltered alternating current (AC) flows will interfere
with the body's
electrical system. Side effects from this phenomenon include but
are not limited to: fatigue, dizziness, physical weakness, depression,
disorientation, headache and increased electrical sensitivity. Many of the
knock-off units we have tested show high levels of AC ripple
in the array
circuit due to poor power supply design. The IonCleanse® unit provides a clean,
noise free DC output to the array.
If a fault or overload occurs, the internal
safety circuits will warn the operator and disable the array output.

Static Interference
-
Static discharges are common in the dryer winter months. A static spark
from the human body can
cause the destruction of the computer control circuit
board or make the unit operate in an unsafe or unexpected manner.
The
IonCleanse® has been tested and certified to meet the standards of EMC
(89/336/EEC and amendments). One of the many
tests of this standard is to place
an 8,000 volt discharge on every surface of the IonCleanse® control unit. The
unit must operate
perfectly in order to pass this test.

All electronic equipment using computer chip or switching power supply
may generate radio frequencies.
These devices must pass tests for compliance
with FCC regulations in order to qualify for public sale in the United States.

How can you tell if a vendor's unit is safe?

Communications Commission) mandates that any product that uses a computer chip
must pass these radio emission tests before it can be sold to the public.
